        Best out of Waste: Chalk Box Making Activity               "Creativity is a wild mind and a disciplined eye." - Dorothy Parker In the midst of our busy academic schedules, small gestures of creativity can spark joy and connection. In April 2024, Interactors took on the activity of Chalk box making.This event not only celebrated creativity and art, but also strengthened the spirit of community and environment protection.   The club members indulged in making various boxes using their own imagination and skills. These boxes were the covers of the ammeter and voltmeter used in the Physics lab,which would otherwise be thrown. The beautiful chalk boxes were later distributed to classes 11 and 12, being symbols of community work and unity. 

Secret Santa

Secret Santa   "Amidst the celebrations, let kindness be the brightest ornament you wear."  The time of New Year's and Christmas is not just about the grandeur of decorations or the abundance of gifts, rather it is about the warmth and compassion found in human connections. In this hustle and bustle of the holiday season, one must not forget to open their hearts a little wider and celebrate this time with the entire community. As the joy of festivities lingered in the air, Kulachi Interact Club organized a Secret Santa activity under the guidance of the District Team . Interactors, assisted by club coordinators visited nearby slum areas and distributed gifts like stationary items amongst children. As an effort to promote the goal of Zero Hunger , food items were also distributed. 

District Interact Leadership Assembly 2023

District Interact Leadership Assembly 2023   District Interact Leadership Assembly (DILA 3011) is an esteemed gathering that unites youthful leaders from diverse schools to partake in meaningful dialogues, cooperate on community service initiatives, and nurture their leadership abilities.  This year, DILA was organized at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park in a new format of Model United Nations (MUN) where participants represented different countries and brainstormed over the seven focus areas of Rotary.  The occasion was graced by District 3011 Governor Rotarian Jeetender Gupta , first lady Dr. Deepti Singh Gupta , amongst many other notable Rotarians. More than 600 students from 65 schools attended the assembly. Interactors from the Kulachi Interact Club had the great opportunity to indulge in discussions on a range of subjects including 7 focus areas that took place in 8 halls simultaneously for 3 hours each. 

Diwali Mela

  Diwali Mela "Let the essence of Diwali linger in your life, bringing peace, prosperity, and happiness throughout the year." As a way to commemorate the festival of lights , Kulachi Hansraj Model School organized a Diwali Mela for the students of classes 7th and 8th. Kulachi Interact Club also contributed to this fun-filled activity. Interactors set up a stall and displayed 3 items: A game “Bollywood Matka” , Live music “Karaoke Adda”, and a doodle board “Imagination Ink” . Students wholeheartedly participated in activities and even won gifts. Setting up a stall gave a wonderful opportunity to Interactors to contribute to the widespread sense of joy and happiness in the mela                                                           

DMRC Children Home Visit

  DMRC Children Home Visit "Kindness is the sunshine in which virtue grows." - Robert Green Ingersoll This festival season, Interactors from the Kulachi Interact Club geared up to spread happiness and paid a visit to DMRC Children Home, Tiz Hazari on 4 November 2023.   DMRC Children Home, Tiz Hazari is a child parenting home set up and run by the NGO Salaam Baalak Trust , under the Child Welfare Committee, with the motto of providing a safe and nurturing environment to children from strained family backgrounds.  As a small gesture of kindness and an attempt to light up their Diwali, the club members collected gifts and donations ranging from stationery items to clothes for the children.  Upon reaching the venue, Interactors were welcomed with bright smiles of around 30 young children . Gratitude

  Gratitude   "The roots of all goodness lie in the soil of appreciation for goodness." - Dalai Lama The support staff of Kulachi Hansraj Model School plays an essential role in ensuring that the school’s facilities are well-maintained, safe, and clean, creating a conducive environment for everyone. They constitute a vital part of the Kulachi community, and hence, showing appreciation for their dedication is important. As an effort to express gratitude to them, the Interactors from classes 7th-10th showed their creativity to the fullest and made cloth carry bags. These bags were then used to wrap gifts distributed by the Kulachi Interact Club to the helping staff of the school.

In an effort to become sustainable citizens and to do their part for the protection of the environment, the Interactors at Kulachi Interact Club participated in the Eco-friendly Carry Bag Making Activity. The activity not only inculcated a sense of environmental awareness and creativity among students but also helped them experience the satisfaction of creating something useful and sustainable.
